Insurance & Reimbursement (Superbills)
A Life In Balance is a private-pay practice. We do not bill insurance directly.
That said, I am credentialed (in-network) with a number of insurance plans and can provide a monthly superbill (receipt for services) that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network benefits.
How reimbursement typically works:
-
You pay for services at the time of your session.
-
You request a superbill (I can provide this on a monthly basis).
-
You submit the superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement consideration.
Important notes:
-
Reimbursement is determined by your insurance plan and is not guaranteed.
-
You are responsible for verifying benefits, coverage, and reimbursement rates directly with your insurer.
-
If you’d like, I can share the information insurers commonly request (e.g., service type, diagnosis code, and provider details) so you can confirm your benefits in advance.
