At A Life in Balance, LLC, we provide compassionate, evidence-based therapeutic services designed to help individuals, couples, and groups navigate life’s most challenging experiences. Our approach is grounded in both empathy and clinical expertise. We offer individual therapy, couples counseling, group therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills training — each tailored to fit the goals and needs of the person in front of us. Our Story

A Life in Balance, LLC was founded on a simple, powerful principle: life is more fulfilling when we have balance, skills, and connection. As clinicians, we’ve seen countless people pushed to their limits by stress, loss, uncertainty, or internal conflict — yet often without the support needed to navigate those experiences effectively. That observation shaped our mission: to provide therapy that is both deeply human and clinically grounded. 

 

We built this practice to answer the question many clients silently ask: “How can I feel more capable, calm, and connected?” Our model blends evidence-based treatment — such as DBT, skill-building groups, and individual psychotherapy — with a strengths-based, relational approach that honors each client’s story and goals. 

 

Over the years, we’ve supported people through anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship struggles, and the everyday challenges of navigating life transitions. We believe that therapeutic growth doesn’t happen overnight — but with safety, consistency, and real tools, people can begin to rewrite patterns of distress, build healthier habits, and reclaim joy and balance in their lives.
